Bridge was an important Shibuya-kei band on the Trattoria label.
Members were ŌTOMO Mami (vocals), SHIMIZU Hirotaka (guitars), ŌHASHI Nobuyuki (guitar, now solo as Pate), IKEMIZU Mayumi (organ, accordion, later to form Three Berry Icecream), KAJI Hideki (bass) and KUROSAWA Hiroko (drums). Many of their works were produced by OYAMADA Keigo (Cornelius, Flipper's Guitar).
Mostly active in the first half of the 90's, they have released two full length albums ("Spring Hill Fair" and "Preppy Kicks"), three greatest hits/rarities albums, and several EPs, maxi singles and singles. They also appeared on numerous compilations including their first released recording on "Fab Gear" in 1990. Bridge disbanded in 1995. |
